Another FREE Aspire project of the month from Michael Tyler design engineer at Vectric . The material is Pine and this photo illistrates the roughing cuts with a ¼ inch end mill.

Switching tool bits to a eight inch ball nose the finishing toolpath brings out the finer detail.

Finished with the toolpaths you can see how the pieces are held in place with tabs.

The tabs have been removed and the base has been cut.

Always dry fit all pieces before finishing.

The base of the hands have been masked before painting.

Apply base coat then find a colour blend for the fingers.

I think that will do.

Glue pieces together and wait till dry.
